Book "Gender Violence and the Media"Las Tunas, Cuba.- Danielle explains that the text is the result of a study on the media approach to gender violence in Cuba. The authors analyzed communication products about this theme, published in Cuban media between January 2019 and July 2020.

"Among the indicators, she says, it was analyzed whether the works made errors in concepts or terms related to this type of abuse and similar issues; whether the note validates or repeats myths and stereotypes about the roles of women and men established in the collective imagination that sustains various forms of gender violence. Also, if they show good practices in dealing with these issues and which ones.”

The publication coincided with the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, which is celebrated every November 25. The text bears the stamp of the Pablo de la Torriente Publishing House, the José Martí International Institute of Journalism, the Oxfam Agency, and the French Embassy in Cuba.
