Extensive debates and opinions have been gathered on the island for several weeks and until November 15 on the new changes which will update the constitution, to replace the current one dating from 1976.
Some 135,000 discussion meetings on the new Magna Carta project are planned on the island.
Opinions and proposals of Cuban citizens, including those living abroad, will be submitted to the National Assembly of People's Power (parliament) for the drafting of the Constitution, which, once approved, must be subjected to a popular referendum.
