Havana, Cuba.— Cuban Communist Party leader, Raúl Castro and Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, President of the Councils of State and Ministers met the Venezuelan top diplomat on Monday.
During the meeting the solid bonds that unite Cuba and Venezuela were highlighted. They also exchanged on topics of the regional and international agenda.
The Cuban leaders reiterated the island´s support to constitutional President Nicolás Maduro Moros and the civic-military union of the Venezuelan people.

On Monday Arreaza also participated in a solidarity event with the Venezuelan people held at the University of Information Science (UCI) in Havana.
The Venezuelan foreign minister told participants about efforts underway to bring peace to his country.
"A new process of dialogue has been established in Norway, and there are other dialogue initiatives. We welcome them all", he said.
Arreaza added that US authorities should learn from their mistakes and failures, in their underestimation of the Venezuelan people.
"We have told Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, that it's time for diplomacy, and for understanding. His advisors have led him from one blunder to another, from one frustration to another. It is time for them to learn. Let´s sit down as adults and as governments of civilized countries to understand each other," he stressed.
VENEZUELA, CUBA STRENGTHEN RELATIONS DESPITE US MEDDLING
Foreign Minister Jorge Arreaza assured on Tuesday that Venezuela and Cuba are strengthening their cooperation relations and respect for sovereignty, despite the meddling actions and economic suffocation imposed by the United States.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed in Twitter his gratitude to the Cuban authorities for their warm welcome.
"We thank the General of the Army, Raúl Castro Ruz and the brother President @DiazCanelB, for welcoming us Monday. We extend to them the solidary greeting from President @NicolasMaduro. The relationship between Cuba and Venezuela strengthens as imperialism attacks us. We will win," Arreaza wrote on the digital media. (RHC)
