Havana, Cuba.- The event held every three years is the highest forum of this organization, with a non-governmental character and a special consultative status before the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
Hosted by the Supreme Audit Institution in Russia, the meeting aims to foster the development and transfer of knowledge among Supreme Audit Institutions, improve government auditing worldwide and strengthen their professional capabilities, prestige and influence in their respective countries.
For more than 50 years this International Organization has been working for the exchange of experiences among the superior bodies of the member countries, in charge of auditing the regularity of public accounts and financial management, which in some countries are responsible for the assessment and implementation of the so-called accounting responsibility.
This edition of the Congress is intended to analyze the "Strategic Challenges of the Global Economy and International Development" and look for responses on "How to guarantee sustainable development; management solutions and technology." (ACN)
