Program of recreational activities and gastronomic offersWith a program of recreational activities and gastronomic offers, Las Tunas people join these days to the festivities in greeting to the 61st anniversary of the triumph of the Revolution.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- Martha Oduardo, provincial director of Culture, said that since November 25 began the tribute to the event, which seeks to meet the needs of the people. "We have a cultural promoter in rural communities that have designed, together with the Community Work Groups and institutions, an action plan aimed at the public of different ages."

The celebrations of the last days of the year will also reserve special moments for the children and young people.

"We are combining presentations of performing arts, music, plastic artists, writers ... We also develop sales of books, dances and galas."

Oduardo said that on December 25 attractive proposals will accompany the traditional Jaleo Mambí, in the provincial capital. She also said that the main event for the triumph of the Revolution will be on the 28th in the municipality of Colombia, where many activities will be held.

To date, residents in various territories have enjoyed their popular festivities, while those of the capital city will be held this weekend; as well, the infants had their chance on Saturday 14 in the areas surrounding the Leonardo MacKenzie multipurpose sports hall.

Fidel Gordo Escobar, Vice President of the Council of the Provincial Administration, pointed out that the agro-commercial fairs in each of the locations will have insurance. "Several sectors have the mission of ensuring cultural activities with extensive product offerings so that the people can celebrate the advent of the New Year."
