Las Tunas, Cuba.- The presentation of the draft book Apuntes sobre la impronta del Che en la capacitación técnico-profesional (Notes on the imprint of Che in the technical-professional training) by Manuel Gabriel Castillo Bernal, a combatant and member of the National Association of Innovators and Rationalizers (ANIR) and retired from the Ministry of Construction, was one of the most recent activities, on occasion of the tribute to Ernesto Guevara who was an important promoter of the ANIR.
Another book shared with students and workers from different spheres was Con dos que se quieran (The two loving mates), compilation of interviews conducted by Amaury Pérez, on the television program of the same name, to prominent personalities such as Miguel Barnet, Roberto Fernández Retamar, Silvio Rodríguez, Enrique Pineda Barnet , Luis Alberto García, Juan Formell, among others.
"We carry out initiatives in elderly care homes and maternal homes such as talks, book presentations and participation activities, always related to the relevant dates of the context. On the 18th we have planned, at 9:00 am, a conference dedicated to the Day of the Cuban Culture, which will be taught by the writer and researcher from this city, Carlos Tamayo.
In addition, we have bibliographic exhibitions dedicated to that event and Che. Thus, we also contribute to the knowledge, strengthening and maintenance of our history and idiosyncrasy, "said Marianela Reynaldo Carralero, Specialist in Cultural Programs and Programming at the provincial library.
Likewise, from October 10th to 20th, institutions and organizations related to art and literature will be added with their various programs to honor the Cuban Culture Day, events that pay tribute to the date established in tribute to the First time that the National Anthem was sung.
