The concert guitarist Argibaldo Acebo went there not only with the will to share his melodic interpretations, but also to explain to the pregnant women "interesting facts about the lyrics, the melodies and their authors through a didactic concert in which I talked about technical things, but in an understandable way. Besides, I also talked about the good prenatal influence that these sonorities have, something that has been studied since ancient Greece, which is why lullabies were participants in the dialogue."
He said that "elements such as fine literature and good thoughts can also be beneficial for pregnant women and their babies; all these conceptions came to light in some way. It was a very helpful and enjoyable moment, which they undoubtedly thanked."
Similar initiatives, at the hands of other growers, have reached elderly care houses in order to convey emotions and knowledge.
Another activity that generated public delight was the concert of the Euterpe professional choir, which recently celebrated its 26th anniversary, at the Vicente García González Memorial Museum. The presentation included a program in two parts, one dedicated to the Renaissance, with sacred music, and another one representing the Cuban song. Thus, the traditional trova, the new trova, and composers like Leo Brouwer nuanced moments that recalled the richness of "the most beautiful form of beauty."
The Teatro Tuyo Company and the Claroscuro (music) duo also joined in the headquarters of the clown exponents to share the popular Clarostuyo show, a symbiosis formed with the names of the two artistic casts, in which the talent emanated from the young musicians with the creative versatility of clowns.
The Chamber and Guitar local orchestras, the Provincial Concert Band, the Presto duo, Vocal Ancore, the trombone quartet Melodies, several instrumentalists and other participants cheer up various stages of the city during the 36th edition of the Provincial Music Concert Festival.
The appointment is prestigious with the presence of Walter Themel, a famous Italian orchestra conductor, who developed a master class at El Cucalambé Professional Art School.
