Ernesto Parra Borroto, leader of the Teatro Tuyo Company, performs these days in Argentina, after successfully participating in the 10th International Festival for Children and Youth, held in the Dominican Republic, and the reopening the Teatro Tuyo Cultural Center, its headquarters.

The one-man show ¡¡¡¡PUMM!!, starring Ernesto Parra Borroto, actor and director of Teatro Tuyo, represents Cuba in the International Theatre Festival of Havana, a prestigious event of the art of the boards that from October 19 to 27 gathers outstanding casts from around 10 nations.

With cultural initiatives and beautiful words, the inhabitants of Las Tunas received the Teatro Tuyo local theater group, after their successful tour of Denmark and Sweden, held last August.

After a successful tour through several Cuban provinces and secure the foundations for the start of the National Clown School next September, based in this territory, members of the multi-awarded Teatro Tuyo troupe will share their talent in Denmark and Sweden in coming days.

Teatro Tuyo troupe celebrates the 20th anniversary of its creation this January 15th, decades in which its main objective has been to dignify the art of the clown in national and foreign stages.

The Teatro Tuyo Company has been granted recently the Rubén Vigón award for to the best lighting design, for ¡¡PUM !!!; while actor Alejandro Batista was awarded the "Adolfo Llauradó", for his role in Juegos Olímpiclowns.
