Less Obstacles, More Housing

The entities linked to housing construction by means of granting subsidies to natural persons must thoroughly review the causes and conditions of the difficulties detected by the Permanent Construction Commission of the Provincial Assembly of the People's Power, if they are willing to speed up that important program.

Several families affected by natural disasters were benefited with comfortable homes in Las Tunas province, which were built under the precepts of the popular housing construction movement. The initiative of the authorities is aimed at improve the housing fund of the territory.

More Houses ... More Grateful People

Yurima Hernández Figueredo is a 20 year old woman. She is in charge of raising three girls of 4, 3 and one year. Yamarilis García Olivera is a housewife that remains, virtually, without housing because of the ravages caused by Hurricane Ike in the rural community of Las Marías. José Alejandro Alarcón Rosa, works as an agricultural worker in Kilometer six, and was also damaged by the same meteorological phenomenon.
