Sabor Cubano digital platform for gastronomy services.

The inclusion of four restaurants in this city in the Sabor Cubano digital platform (Cuban Flavor) allows real-time reservations and information on services in the gastronomic network, a facility that seeks to gain space in the process of computerization that the country is undergoing.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- La Parrillada, 2007, La Arboleda and 1876 are the pioneers to be included in the site, administered by the Information Technology Enterprise for Defence (XETID in Spanish), which allows payment through the EnZona gateway, according to Roger Luis Nieves Fournier, a specialist in communication and marketing of the Commerce Business Group (GEC in Spanish), an exclusive interview with the Cuban News Agency (ACN in Spanish).

Among the benefits of Sabor Cubano is the possibility for the client to explore the menu in the takeaway mode or to see the availability of tables for the date he/she wishes, thus avoiding unnecessary stays in the establishments and greater agility in the service, Nieves Fournier pointed out.

Mariela Téllez Batista, director of the Unidad Empresarial de Base 2007, one of the most exquisite places in the range of culinary options in this eastern city, told ACN that the restaurant is making inroads into virtual sales, however, she said that they need to strengthen the specialization of the staff to keep the website active.

The institutional communicator of the GEC recognizes that the vast majority of the entities do not have the necessary technical support to achieve a preponderant presence on the platform, which is why they are working to guarantee the growth of the existing units in the short term, as well as the 13 others they intend to join.

Dedicated to the marketing, promotion, and sale in real-time of commercial and gastronomic products in the country, Sabor Cubano provides details ranging from the geographical location of the properties to the versatility of the products they have, in seven of Cuba's provinces.
