Despite the 16 cases of COVID-19 confirmed today, the province ends the week (March 28 to April 3) with a positive balance compared to the previous one (March 21 to 27).
Las Tunas, Cuba.- Although it is early for a definitive assessment, this could be the result of the implementation of the measures adopted by the Temporary Working Group, which entered into force last March 29.
With yesterday's figure, it is the third time that Las Tunas has registered 15 confirmed or more, in one day in the entire pandemic period; the previous occasions were on February 11, 2021, 15; and March 15, 19. Pérez Héctor reiterated the need to comply with the new codes of life, which include the mandatory use of the facemask, physical distancing and handwashing.
