Las Tunas, Cuba.- According to Juan Migüel Barrios, Provincial Deputy Director of Education, during these weeks other important processes converge, such as the closure of the teachers' evaluation, the granting of scholarships to the ninth grade students, the second round of entrance exams to the Higher Education and the organization of future steps for those who conclude terminal grades.
Migüel Barrios meant that the continuity of professional training is assured for all those who graduate from ninth and twelfth grades. He also informed that on July 3rd they will carry out the graduation of the two pedagogical schools of the territory, which will now provide more than 390 new teachers who will be incorporated into the classrooms in September.
Las Tunas closes the school term with the Outstanding Condition at the national level for the fifth consecutive year. The managing staffs of the sector together with the trade union and student organizations prepare summer activities to recognize workers and students. Likewise, they outline the assurances related to the material basis of study and life, as well as the teaching staff for the 2018-2019 academic calendar.
