"Amancio", Las Tunas.- Thus almost all the classrooms of Primary Education to have two teachers; as well as it makes possible supporting the teaching-learning processes in different Cuban provinces with deficit of human resources in this sector, vital for the development of society.
At the Rita Longa Aróstegui Pedagogical Training School in Las Tunas, 156 students from this southwestern municipality study from first to fourth year in the different specialties.
The Municipal Directorate of Educationhas designed a strategy with the aim of ensuring that students who choose these careers graduate and incorporate the different teaching levels.
Visiting the school, care about their academic situation and assistance, as well as exchanging with future educators about their experiences, dissatisfactions and perspectives are among the actions developed periodically.
They are also received three times during the academic year to carry out teaching practices, in which each one is assigned a tutor who supports them in their activities, clarifies doubts and assists them in the tasks oriented from the school.
In this way the love for their specialties is fostered in them, and it is propitiated that at the same time they are able to inculcate in other students the interest towards pedagogical careers.
Thus is honored the José Martí thought that reads "... every man when coming to Earth has the right to be educated and in payment must contribute to the education of others."
