Las Tunas, Cuba.- The Inter-IPVCE regional event took place from November 1 to 17, in that educational center, in this city.
Las Tunas' students won the first place, as they achieved the top in the specialties of Physics, Chemistry and Computing; as well as the good results in English.
The institutes of Guantánamo and Santiago de Cuba placed second and third.
These competitions are held every year in the west, center and east regions of the country, to evaluate the preparation of students in nine subjects, mainly those of Exact Sciences. The winners will participate in the national event
The enthusiast closing session of the Inter-IPVCE Regional Cup was part of the festivities for the International Student Day, on November 17.
