Las Tunas, Cuba.- Nílser Piñeda Cruz, director of Education in the territory, said that the figure represents 96 percent of the completion of the staff in educational centers, and the remained four percent is completed by part-time professionals, so the needs of the students are guaranteed.
«Attendance, retention, learning and promotion indicators are the most favorable in Primary, Secondary and Pre-university education; and work is carried out along with the family on the vocational orientation of the students in order to guarantee the continuity of studies in careers necessary for the economic and social development," said Piñeda Cruz.
The director said that three schools were recently included in the Explanatory Comparative Regional Exercise, an opportunity through which the results are analyzed and compared with other territories in the country and Latin American nations.
The province also shows achievements in the training of the students, from the development of creative skills and collectivism in the teaching-learning process, according to the third educational improvement and the methodological work.
Other satisfactory indicators are the entrance to the University and the results in the knowledge competitions, while the recruitment to pedagogical careers and the professional quality of the teaching faculties in more than 600 centers are prioritized.
