Las Tunas, Cuba.- The event will take place from February 12th to 16th in Havana, under the slogan "The University and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development."
The Rector of the university, M.Sc. Aurora Ramos de las Heras, will head the delegation composed of 12 professionals, who will present themes related to energy and climate change, the accreditation of careers, the training of professional skills in students, sustainable alternatives of animal feed, pedagogy, universalization and university extension in Higher Education. They will also expound results of research projects associated with national programs, which have an important impact on local development and the socio-economic transformation of the territory..
A promotional stand with folding and souvenirs will show the work of the University of Las Tunas, which defends as fundamental lines of research, with results, themes of sustainable agriculture, energy and process management. They will also present a business portfolio with the main academic services offered by the institution.
The activities of the scientific program will take place at Havana's International Conference Center and some alternative venues.
The Congress, twenty years after its first edition, is consolidated as a fundamental space for meeting, dialogue and debate on the most urgent issues regarding higher education in Latin American countries. The extensive program of the event includes the holding of keynotes lectures, round tables, panels, workshops, courses, visits and an associated exhibition, with the attendance of recognized international experts.

Delegation from Las Tunas will Attend "Universidad 2018"
