Congress of University Federation Analyzes Student Housing in Las Tunas ReyLópez

The realization for the first time of congresses in the student residences, is something that distinguishes the assembly process in the base, previous to the Ninth Congress of the University Student Federation (FEU), which started in Las Tunas last March 5th.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- Ketty Rojas León, president of  FEU at the University of Las Tunas, said that the residences have always had treatment in the group and faculty meetings, this time we intend to analyze it deeper everything that happens there.

The youth leader explained that "the aim is to review the problems that affect our beneficiaries and the facilities in which they live, hygiene and care of resources, the confrontation of indiscipline and the consumption of harmful substances."

"We want the student housing not to be just a place of rest, but to become a space for healthy recreation, in which traditional events occur and the student concerns be respond," said Rojas León, who stated that the University of Las Tunas has two residences, which developed their conclaves on April 24th and 25th.

One of the most widespread approaches in both campus, were the few structural conditions that they present for individual study, which undermines the performance of this important activity.

With the celebration on Thursday, April 26th, of the Ninth Congress of the Faculty of Social and Humanistic Sciences, the debates at that level conclude. From the 29th to the 31st of this month will take place the Congress of the University of Las Tunas, last step before the great event, in which the house of high studies will be represented by eight delegates.
