The Government visit to this eastern Cuban province not only marked an important milestone in local history for the first stay of Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez as president, but also because never before so many members of the Council of Ministers, headed by the first vice-president Salvador Valdés Mesas, other vice-presidents of that body, as well as 14 members of the cabinet had visited simultaneously economic and social centers here.
