With the satisfaction of the accomplished dutty, the first ten collaborators who were in Brazil as part of the More Doctors Program, aimed at improve the coverage of primary health care in the most remote and poorest areas of that nation arrived in Las Tunas.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- They were welcomed at the Vicente García memorial museum of this city by officials of the sector, leaders of political and mass organizations, as well as their relatives. Dr. Luis Manuel Pérez Concepción, provincial director of Public Health, expressed the joy of having them at home and called to continue raising the flags of solidarity.
Dr. Lilian Aparicio Meneses, on behalf of cooperators, thanked the warm welcome and ratified the willingness of the doctors to fulfill any mission either in the country or abroad. "We went with a humanist aim and we came back with the pleasure of having fulfilled our duty. At the time of the announcement of the Declaration, over 400 physicians from Las Tunas were working at the South American country. Two thousand 329 health professionals from Las Tunas work in 43 of the 66 nations with which Cuba has agreements of medical cooperation.
