Cuba and Greece ratified Saturday the excellent state of their bilateral relations and the mutual interest of strengthening them in various spheres, as well as highlighting the potential of business and investment.

Athens.- Konstantino Fragogiannis, deputy minister in charge of Economy at the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs, received the Cuban ambassador to Greece, Zelmys María Domínguez Cortina, at the Ministry's headquarters.

A readout on the meeting explained that they reviewed the historical links between the Cuban and Greek peoples, as well as issues of mutual interest to promote bilateral relations in tourism, biotechnology, and sports, among other aspects.

They also discussed Greek business and investment possibilities in Cuba and exchanged criteria and ideas on the preparation of a possible business forum on the Caribbean island with the participation of Greek businesspeople. (RHC)
