Las Tunas, Cuba.- As summer approaches, the installation is preparing to receive mainly national clients, which most come in the months of July and August. The collective, famous in the sector for its warmth and good treatment, is occupied in initiatives to achieve reservations in advance, special price offers and new services to please Cuban tourists.
The main tourist destination in Las Tunas will welcome the summer season with a big sea spray party the first two days of July. Elizabeth Llorente León, the hotel's commercial specialist, explained to 26Digital that during this period, customers will enjoy beach parties, nautical festivals, collective birthdays, new cocktail and soda options, and the traditional Cuban cuisine.
Entertainment for children is also guaranteed; as well as the usual services of the lobby bar, the buffet restaurant, the beach palapa and the "Solarena" disco; and also court games, entertainment activities and non-motorized beach sports like the catamaran and pedalo.
"Last year high season concluded with great success in revenues despite the effects of Hurricane Irma, after which we only took a month to restart operations. The Canadian market has not behaved as expected this year, but the domestic put a balance in sales. This month we have an over-fulfillment of more than 150 percent of the tourists per day planned."
Covarrubias currently undertakes a capital repair process in eight of its 180 rooms, which includes change of floor, fittings and furniture. The rooms are given systematic maintenance, to ensure its comfort. They are also immersed in a project to promote group tourism, which has a worldwide booming and aims to attract mostly students.
