Las Tunas, Cuba.- Some 6,446 meetings will be held in this eastern province, where 263 duos with experiences in other processes, such as the debate of the Guidelines of the Economic and Social Policy of the Party and the Revolution, were trained with the aim of guarantee its the quality. As well as, management centers were created at municipal and provincial levels.
The meetings will be held in work and student centers, as well as in rural and urban communities, where they will be organized by constituencies since there is already a structure that will make it easier for people to know where to go when they are summoned.
State and non-state workers, individual farmers and cooperative workers, university students and students of pre-university education, combatants of the Revolutionary Armed Forces and the Ministry of the Interior and the population will participate.
From the beginning of the month of August, when the tabloids were put on sale, and until last Friday, Las Tunas inhabitants acquired 53,672 copies; and about 4, 900 are still available in the municipalities of Manatí, Puerto Padre, Jobabo, Jesus Menéndez and Amancio.
Logistic support required for the process is guaranteed, with the assistance of several agencies, including Copextel, Transporte, Youth Computing and Electronic Club, Cuban Telecommunication Company and Economy and Planning.
The popular consultation process of the Constitutional Reform runs from today until November 15.
