He tells stories of his city, and does it well. He reflects in its burning letter the shine and the shadows of everything that his eyes touch ... and his soul of journalist!

Las Tunas, Cuba.- His stories go from human and social nuances, to economic and political issues, to the deepest encounters of investigative journalism.

"I think there is always something important to say, placing myself in the place of people; not writing, not talking, for the pleasure of listening or reading oneself, but thinking that what you are going to say, or investigate, may be important for anyone. That's the key to tackling so many things in a relatively short time," said István Ojeda Bello, reporter with 26 Newspaper, in Las Tunas.

This intrepid colleague always dissatisfied with his work -because he believes there is always a higher rung-, audacious and with no limits for topics and content, has been distinguished by the profession.

István Ojeda Bello, from Las Tunas, Cuba, is the  Juan Gualberto Gómez Award in hypermedia journalism... once again.
