The 51st constituency of the rural settlement of Feijóo, in the municipality of Jobabo, was the protagonist of the “Por Nosotros Mismos” Integrated Community Work, a space where the population comes to raise their main concerns regarding their day-to-day.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- The main issues discussed at the meeting were energy savings at homes, as well as maintaining the power lines by removing weeds to avoid future obstructions. And, also, maintaining an active vigilance to eradicate criminal acts.

The self-sufficiency of the community was a topic of interest to those present. In this regard, the delegate of the district, José Yunior Arrastre Cutiño, explained that 21 yards have yet to incorporate the planting of viands and vegetables, and the production of small livestock is lacking.

Among the concerns raised were the maintenance, repair, and construction of houses and the frequency of distribution of products from the CIMEX stores chain.

Members of the Provincial Bureau of the Cuban Communist Party, as well as officials of the Municipal Assembly of the People’s Power, chaired the meeting and exchanged with the residents.
