More than 9,300 cylinders of liquefied gas have been sold in the province from Sunday, September 15th, after achieving stability in the supply.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- José Luis Mora Pérez, director of Cuba Petróleo (Cupet) in the province, explained in the "Alto y Claro" (Loud and Clear) radio program that they managed to start the sale in the rest of the municipalities last September 18th, although not with the levels necessary to cover all the demand.

The company adopts strategies and organizational measures for the commercialization of the well-known little gas containers. "We have prioritized the sale points of greatest concentration, among them, La Victoria neighborhood, which has sold more than one thousand cylinders in one day. The same happens in Puerto Padre, which after the provincial capital is the area of more customers, with an approximate figure of 11 thousand."

However, the social misbehaviors that undermine the proper functioning of the activity continue. In this regard, the manager expressed that it has been established that those who provide home delivery service buy only four cylinders daily in each of the sale points, after that 10 people in the line purchase the product.

"Most of the time, home distributors generate discomfort in the lines. We have worked together with the inspection staff and the Ministry of Interior, but when there is no presence of these authorities, some take the opportunity to create disorders."

Mora requested the support of the population to eliminate such situations that cause many dislikes. "Sometimes, some sell the shifts or remain on siege of those who are only going to buy a cylinder. We call the citizens to support the elimination of these misbehaviors because the daily maelstrom often prevents point sellers from organizing the lines."

Las Tunas is the only province in the country that provides the open sale of liquefied gas in its eight municipalities, and the number of customers exceeds 89 thousand; even so, the prospect for the next few days is to keep the stable supply and distribution.
