With an attendance of 82.3 percent, the 1,231 planned meetings have been held so far in the Second Process of Accountability of delegates to voters in the province, corresponding to the seventeenth term of office of the municipal assemblies of People's Power, which will extend until November 15th.

They have collected three thousand 962 social concerns, of which two thousand 387 correspond to solutions of the factors of the respective communities and one thousand 575 to responsibilities of different organizations.
The most recurrent issues have been the repair of streets and neighboring roads, collection of solid waste, restoration of hydraulic networks and electrical luminaires.
The meetings have become important scenarios to reflect on the necessary improvements of the conditions in the communities, support for the Revolution and saving measures to confront the fuel shortage, condemn the intensification of the U.S. blockade against Cuba, reinforce the hygienic-sanitary actions in the neighborhoods and the confrontation to the appearance of corruption, illegalities and social misbehaviors.
Different alternatives have been put into practice in the eight municipalities to recover several of the meetings affected by the intense downpours of the initial days of the month, according to information from José Serrano Brito, an official of the Provincial Assembly of People's Power. Likewise, they consider positive the suggestions of the advisory groups of the process, fundamentally of the young people.
