Today the assembly will take place in the municipality of Colombia. It was preceded by several preparatory sessions that, according to Yuniel Ávila Rodríguez, ideological adviser of the Provincial Committee of the UJC, make them arrive at the most strengthened appointment.

The leader acknowledged the quality of the proposals of the young political vanguard of Las Tunas in the two municipal assemblies held to date in Jesús Menéndez and Jobabo municipalities.

Moreover, at the same time, he highlighted the support they have given in the meetings to the Cuban Revolution, the top leadership of the country and the absolute rejection of the Helms-Burton Act and the new hegemonic policies of the United States against Cuba.

All the assemblies at the municipality level will be held in the upcoming day of this month of October and November in Las Tunas, In them, in addition to evaluations of new work projects, participants will select the delegates who will be representing each territory in the Provincial 11th Congress Assembly.

The latter is scheduled for early next year in which Las Tunas delegation will be constituted to the great appointment of the young Cuban political vanguard. The conclave is scheduled for early April 2020, in Havana.
