The implemented payment system plays an important role, because while other companies pay at the moment, the Forestal UEB needs about a week, although they buy the charcoal at a higher price.

The attention to the workers is another vital issue. The entity guarantees the monthly delivery of a food module composed of no less than 13 products, and annually distributes clothing and footwear, as well as work instruments such as gloves, ax, and files, among others.

However, the provincial company has recommended implementing new strategies to foster the production and commercialization of charcoal, by creating a collection brigade, with its respective means of transport, which will pick up all the productions of the contracted areas, which will humanize the work.

In the situation that the country is facing today, it is urgent to implement strategies that contribute, from the local potentialities, to the economic and social development of the nation.
