Las Tunas, Cuba.- The installation of ATMs has advanced in the territory, coupled to an increase of the RED magnetic card customers, who already total more than 6,000. This modality has several facilities associated such as paying bills and transferring of funds, which should grow during 2017, Rodolfo León Jiménez, Marketing Specialist of the Provincial Direction of Bandec, told 26Digital.
This service has prioritized retirees, who in this way can collect their pension in an easier way, make payments and at the same time save, the specialist added.
León Jiménez said that customers of magnetic cards also apply for the service of Telebanking, by means of which these users can carry out banking operations through a telephone. The expert said that this variant will be followed by others such as Virtual Bandec, using Internet and mobile telephony to bring services to its customers.
In 2016, around 41 million pesos more than in the previous year were handled through ATMs, as evidence of the rise of a service that in addition to streamlining banking operations increases customer satisfaction rates, said Leon Jiménez.
