"Amancio", Las Tunas.- The fine drizzle of the afternoon did not prevent the development of the meeting, which was moved to the home of one the federated women in the area, who addressed issues such as the need to rescue the essence of the FMC, involving more the younger in tasks, combating social indiscipline, and encouraging the Movement of Creative Women, among others.
Amarelle Boué stressed that their speeches were rightly related to the problems that the Federation is currently working on.
The leader said that these meetings must shake the foundations of the organization, and that the federated women should go out to work, to combat, and should do so in the most attractive way.
The female leader referred to the need to continue strengthening the economic autonomy of women, the production of food, working of creator women, self health care, as well as she highlighted the rights that Cubans enjoy and the need to maintain them.
The Assembly selected Teresa Amarelle Boué as delegate to the 10th Congress for this southern Las Tunas municipality, as well as ratified Yamilka Dávila Zúñiga as secretary of the delegation, and recognized the labor of its most outstanding members.
The main authorities of the Party and the Government in the municipality, and the secretary of the women's organization in Las Tunas province were also attending the meeting.
The assemblies of the 10th Congress must be held in 43 delegations and five blocks of the Federation, in "Amancio". The process that began on March 8 with the convocation to the Congress will be extended until July 30th, to close in September with the municipal assembly.
