The José Martí Light youth event, in Las Tunas

Once again, the José Martí Youth Movement (MJM) summons in Las Tunas. Now, with May 19 approaching, they have begun a program of activities entitle Luz Martiana (José Martí Light); and they intend to join many others in diverse spaces, although, most of them, essentially virtual.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- They are not alone. The encouragement comes from the José Martí Cultural Society, the Young Communist League, and another large group of institutions and fervent scholars of the “Apostle.”

They are preparing a photographic exhibition from the Young Clubs, and in the municipalities of the province, so that everyone who feels like joining can publish a photo on their profiles that expresses why ideas of the Maestro are present in this #CubaViva (LiveCuba)

They will also carry out the panel José Martí Presence in Eastern Cuba and the delivery of the Abdala Prize to six young people with sustained work in defense of the work of the most universal of all Cubans.

Among the highlights of these dates is the premiere of the children's video clip Leonor, in the Déjate ver magazine of the TunasVisión local TV channel, and the social media operation that, will fill those digital platforms with the tags #MartianosHoy, #LuzMartiana, #MartíVive, and #JornadaJuvenil, the same on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.
