The sincere and warm greeting granted to South Korean President Moon Jae-in upon his arrival on Tuesday to North Korea is a clear show of good will toward reunification.

Pyongyang.- The President of the State Committee of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (PDRK), Kim Jong-un, welcomed Moon at the Sunam International Airport where both men embraced with a cheek-to-cheek hug.

Behind them there were large signs bearing slogans reading, "We ardently welcome President Moon Jae-in visiting Pyongyang!' and 'Let's open up an era of peace and prosperity with combined strength of the Korean People!"

The warmth welcome did not compared to what happened 18 years ago when South Korean leader then Kim Dae-jung visited Pyongyang. And it was superior than the welcoming offered in 2007 to then president of South Korea Roh Moo-hyun.

Kim and Roh came for summit meetings with DPRK's leader Kim Jong-il, a western diplomat recalled for Prensa Latina.

It is very difficult, impossible, that the US can sabotage reunification of the Korean Peninsula nor can it spoil the signing of a peace agreement between Seoul and Pyongyang. No one can go against the will of people, the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) wrote in a commentary.
