9th Congress of the Federation of Latin American Congress Organizing Entities (COCAL)

Meliá Internacional Hotel in the Cuban city of Varadero is hosting the 39th Congress of the Federation of Latin American Congress Organizing Entities (COCAL) from today until July 6.

Matanzas, Cuba.- COCAL aims to educate and professionalize the industry to create a network of professionals that fosters networking, transformation, inclusion, and professional development, according to the official program of the event.

Important specialists, such as Enid Cámara Vasconcelos, José Quan, Stuart Ruff-Lyon, and Martin Boyle, all leading figures in the world of event organizers, are expected to give speeches at the meeting.

The Congress will include visits to exhibitors, exchanges with rum masters, and gastronomic presentations, as well as the positioning of Cuba as a destination prepared for the celebration of events throughout the region, with well-equipped facilities and highly qualified personnel. With representatives from countries such as the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Panama, Argentina, Colombia, Guatemala, Puerto Rico, Honduras, the United States, Colombia, and Spain, this is the third time that Cuba will host a Cocal congress, an organization to which it has belonged since 1980 and of which it has held the presidency on two opportunities.
