Tillerson told ABC news network that if international agreements are broken and any country turns into a threat, at some point it might get a response as a result.
Such statements were directly referring to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), a day after they publicly announced that a US aircraft carrier and its attack group were sent to the Korean peninsula.
According to Tillerson, they have made clear that the US objective is to get rid of the nuclear threat in the region and not change the DPRK management.
Nevertheless, the DPRK has stated that the increased tension in the peninsula is not related to its defense weapons but to the military exercises carried out by the United States and South Korea. (PL)
