NCA Calls On Venezuelan Opposition to Join Constituent Assembly

Caracas.- The National Constituent Assembly (NCA) President, Delcy Rodríguez, has reiterated the call for the Venezuelan opposition to join the debate in the forum of the original power settled by the people in August 30 elections.

 

With the support of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, Rodríguez said that in her capacity as NCA president, she extended an invitation to the opposition delegation to join the great national law debate against Hatred, Intolerance, Fascism and in favor of Peaceful Coexistence.

Regarding the resumption of the government-opposition dialogue in the Dominican Republic, Rodriguez stressed the meetings were satisfactory.

"Although there were some issues very difficult to be debated, it was a meeting in which we can express that Venezuelans can live together in peace, harmony," she said.

In this regard, Nicolas Maduro stressed how important would be for Venezuelan people to be acquainted with the peace dialogue progress, which is aimed at strengthening Venezuela's stability.

On the other hand, she urged MERCOSUR member nations to work on the basis of unity and on respect for diversity. (PL)
