The former executive secretary of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-People's Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP), Sacha Llorenti, thanked Venezuelan authorities for their support and warm hospitality.

Caracas.- "My deep gratitude to President @NicolasMaduro and Vice President @delcyrodriguezv," the former Bolivian minister wrote on his Twitter account.

Llorenti said that he witnessed the bravery of the Venezuelan people and their victories.

I do not consider myself a friend of Venezuela, I am one of its children and it will always count on me, he said.

The politician assumed the executive secretariat of ALBA-TCP from 2020 until December 14, 2022, when Félix Plasencia, from Venezuela, was appointed head of the Latin American and Caribbean integration bloc, during the 22nd Summit of Heads of State and Government in Havana.

Plasencia, who is Venezuela's ambassador to Colombia, wrote a few days ago on the same social network that he would assume this new responsibility with dedication and Bolivarian commitment.

We will continue highlighting the values of our Alliance and the integration of our peoples, he noted. (PL)
