UK southeastern regions would be subjected to an irrigation ban due to a lack of water

British authorities reported Friday a water supply control in certain southeastern regions due to a lack of water.

London.- South East Water supplier announced this Friday that two southeastern regions would be subjected to an irrigation ban due to a lack of water at the beginning of a summer that threatens to be drier than usual.

Watering gardens, washing cars, and filling swimming pools will be banned for residents in Kent and Sussex areas from June 26 until further notice.

Britain recently recorded its hottest-ever temperature reading, with more than 32 degrees Celsius in South London on June 10.

Rainfall has been lower than the average for several weeks in a country where it rains regularly during the year. (PL)
