The Venezuelan Ministry of Foreign Affairs denounced before the world what it called the brazen theft of an aircraft owned by the Venezuelan nation, carried out by order of the US Secretary of State, Marco Rubio.

Caracas.- “Marco Rubio, from mercenary of hatred to aircraft thief!” a statement released by Minister Yván Gil indicated.

The note affirmed that his hatred towards the Bolivarian Republic “now leads him to open crime, illegally confiscating an airplane belonging to the state-owned company Petróleos de Venezuela S.A., with the complicity of the government of the Dominican Republic”.

This attack against Venezuela demonstrates that Rubio is nothing more than a criminal disguised as a politician, using his office to plunder and strip our country of its assets, he stressed.

He denounced that “his hatred turns him into an international criminal, capable of violating any rule to harm our homeland”.

The Foreign Ministry expressed that Venezuela will take all necessary actions to denounce this theft and demand the immediate return of its aircraft.

It assured that “Marco Rubio will go down in history as what he is: a thief and a declared enemy of our people”. (PL)
