Additionally, the country will ban the sale, distribution, or consumption of alcoholic drinks in public places from noon this Friday to noon on Monday.
Adults aged fifty and older, as well as individuals with physical disabilities, will exercise their right to vote in the elections through the “Voto en Casa” (Vote at Home) option.
People deprived of liberty and those without sentences started early voting on Thursday.
More than 13.7 million Ecuadorians will go to ballots on Sunday to elect president between Luisa Gonzalez, of the Citizen Revolution (RC), and incumbent President Daniel Noboa. (PL)
