Near-total rejection of Israeli actions against Iran.

Israel's attacks on Iran on Thursday, without a prior declaration of war, have been widely condemned.

Governments, individuals, and organizations, including the United Nations, have rejected the Netanyahu government's warlike actions, which are intended to destroy Iran's nuclear program.

UN condemns Israeli attack on Iran and calls for maximum restraint

United Nations.- UN Secretary-General António Guterres condemned Israel's military escalation in the Middle East following the attack on Iran and called on both sides to exercise maximum restraint.

Guterres issued a statement expressing his concern about Israel’s actions while talks between Iran and the United States focused on Iran’s ongoing nuclear program.

“The Secretary-General calls on both parties to exercise maximum restraint, avoiding at all costs a deepening of the conflict,” said spokesman Farhan Haq, who emphasized that it is “a situation that the region can badly afford.”

The Israeli army attacked areas of Iran on Thursday, without a prior declaration of war, with the stated objective of destroying Iran’s nuclear program.

Iranian civilian and military authorities have repeatedly warned that they would respond with absolute firmness to any Israeli or US aggression.

The United States said it did not participate in the attacks, although Secretary of State Marco Rubio noted that Israel had “reported” that it considered the action necessary for its self-defense.

Previously, President Donald Trump warned of the possibility of a “massive conflict” in the Middle East that could occur “soon.”

China condemns attacks on Iran and opposes Israeli violations

Beijing.- China condemned Israel's attack on Iran and underscored its opposition to violations of its sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian also emphasized the rejection of the intensification of contradictions and the expansion of conflicts.

“The sudden escalation of the regional situation is not in the interest of any party. China urges all relevant governments and institutions to do more to promote regional peace and stability and prevent further escalation of tensions,” the spokesperson stated.

The spokesman noted China’s concern about Israel’s attacks and “the serious consequences they may cause.”

The Chinese embassies in Iran and Israel urged their citizens in those countries to take greater precautions and increase security measures.

Russia says Israel’s actions against Iran are unjustified.

Moscow.- Israel's actions are unjustified from a legal, political, military, and moral perspective, said Konstantin Kosachev, Vice Chairman of the Russian Senate, on his Telegram channel.

Commenting on Israel’s attacks on Iran’s nuclear, military, and civilian facilities, the senator stated that the past day was very difficult for the world, both literally and figuratively.

“The hope of avoiding a large-scale war, however difficult it may be, depends solely on the solid condemnation of this operation by the international community,” said Kosachev, who emphasized that there are no major doubts in the position of the global majority.

“Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Israel had struck at the heart of Iran’s nuclear enrichment program. In reality, there are many more strikes. Unfortunately, this is not the end of the story. The Iranian response to Israel is inevitable; the vicious cycle of escalation is dramatically escalating,” Kosachev stressed.

Previously, Israeli authorities announced attacks against Iran, including nuclear facilities in various parts of the country. Netanyahu described the objective of the operation as dismantling Iran’s nuclear program and warned that the attacks would continue.

Arab countries condemn wave of Israeli attacks on Iran

Cairo.- Several Arab countries strongly condemned the wave of Israeli attacks against Iranian military, nuclear, and economic sites, which caused damage and fatalities, including senior military commanders.

“We denounce the flagrant Israeli attacks against the sisterly Islamic Republic of Iran, which undermine its sovereignty and security,” the Saudi Foreign Ministry said in a statement. It emphasized that the incursion constitutes a violation of international laws and norms and called on the UN Security Council and the world at large to immediately halt the aggression.

The Omani Foreign Ministry issued a similar statement, blaming Benjamin Netanyahu’s government for the current escalation and warning of the consequences. “Israel is responsible for this dangerous and reckless escalation, which violates the principles of international law,” the statement warned, emphasizing that Israel’s actions represent unacceptable and ongoing behavior that undermines the foundations of regional stability.

Jordan also harshly criticized Israel, calling the attack a violation of international law and the UN Charter. “[Israel’s attack] threatens the security and stability of the Middle East and will further exacerbate tensions,” said Jordanian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Sufian Qudah.

The Jordanian Armed Forces placed “all its formations and units on high alert in response to the growing regional tension.” At the same time, the Kingdom’s Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission announced the closure of national airspace as a “precautionary measure.”

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs denounced the Israeli bombing and expressed deep concern about its repercussions. “It is necessary to exercise maximum restraint and prudence to avoid risks and the spread of conflict,” it noted.

Venezuela categorically condemns Israel’s aggression against Iran

Caracas.- Venezuela categorically condemned the military aggression perpetrated by the State of Israel against the Islamic Republic of Iran, which it described as illegitimate, unjustified, and in violation of international law.

The Foreign Ministry denounced last night in a statement that “this is an act of war that adds to the long history of crimes by Netanyahu’s regime, whose machinery of destruction operates outside of any legality.”

The Venezuelan government demanded “the immediate cessation of all hostilities by Israel, which has turned its foreign policy into a permanent threat to peace in West Asia.” “We express our strongest solidarity with Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khomeini, President Masoud Pezeshkian, and the Iranian people in the face of this cowardly attack,” the statement said.

The Bolivarian Republic reiterated that there will be no peace without justice, and that it begins “by stopping Israel’s arms-fueled madness,” the genocide of the Palestinian people, and the Israeli war criminals, who have become the greatest threat to peace for humanity.
