The Cuban Parliament published two new draft bills.

Cuba's National Assembly of the People's Power (Parliament) published on Monday the draft bills on Immigration and Migration, intending to promote citizens' participation and contribute to legal culture.

Havana, Cuba.- To that end, the legislative body posted on its official website the texts of both projects and e-mails through which those interested may express their opinions and suggestions on these issues.

One of the bill's provisions aims to regulate the attention, protection, identification, and legal documentation of foreigners visiting or residing in the country, as reported by the Parliament on its website.

The draft bill on Foreigners will also regulate the process of social insertion of residents, following the provisions of the Constitution of the Republic of Cuba, and international legal instruments on foreigners.

On the other hand, the Migration Bill seeks to regulate the process under a systemic conception of development to achieve a regular, orderly, and safe flow. (PL)
