Cuba's Justice Ministry (MINJUS) has invited legal professionals and researchers to participate in the 4th International Congress, JURISCUBA 2024, to be held in this capital on October 15-17.

Havana, Cuba.- The event will be held at the Havana-based Conference Center under the theme “Legal Security, a challenge of the contemporary world.” The debate will focus on registry law, legal advice, the creation of regulations, legal culture, notarial law, and the computerization of the sector and its services.

In the registry law, the works will be focused on the principles of organization, functioning, and efficiency of public registries, the right to identity, and civil registration, besides the experiences and challenges related to the computerization process of these public registries.

Participants will also discuss the importance of property registration in territorial and urban planning, the property registration systems in today’s world, and the registry integration processes.

The event will be sponsored by the National Association of Cuban Lawyers (UNJC), the Association of Cuban Notaries, the Law Faculty of the University of Havana, the Corporate Group Legal Services S.A., the National Lawyers Guild, and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF). (PL)
