The deputies to the Fourth Ordinary Session of the National People's Power Assembly of Cuba (parliament) began the debates today, after two days of discussions in standing committees.
Havana, Cuba.- Convened from December 18 to 20, parliamentarians will address impact issues for the Caribbean nation, such as the economy plan and budget for 2025 and the state of compliance with agreements adopted in previous periods.
Joaquín Alonso said that this stage's economic plan will focus on achieving growth or exceeding it by advancing the recovery of the national electro-energy system, improving the fuel balance, and increasing agricultural production.
They also plan to boost manufacturing and services, improve business system performance, and carry out transformations and approved measures, maximizing their positive and multiplier effects on the rest of the economy. (PL)
