In the recent edition of the 2024 Ibero-American Informatics Olympiad, three students from Tunisia stood out for their excellent performance and demonstrated their talent in the field of Informatics.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- Francis José Rodríguez Ronda, Sergio López, and Roger Peña Pérez were the winners. These brilliant young people positioned themselves among the best participants in the high-level competition, demonstrating their skills and prowess in their excellent results. Francis and Sergio won silver medals, the second and third that Las Tunas has won in these competitions.

They demonstrated their talent at the Ibero-American Informatics Olympiad 2024 and represented the Luis Urquiza Jorge Vocational Pre-university Institute of Exact Sciences with pride and commitment. Their dedication and perseverance set an example for other young people who share their passion for Computer Science, inspiring them to follow their dreams and strive to reach higher and higher goals in this exciting field of knowledge.

The International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI in English) will be held in Egypt from 1 to 8 September 2024. Francis, who has secured his qualification, is preparing to compete and return home with rewards and the honor of being the first  Las Tunas student to participate in such an event.
