What until a few decades ago were references to science fiction movies, or later to landscapes of Asian countries, are now part of our daily lives: electric vehicles.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- Given the shortage of fuel, not only those belonging to entities and those for families keep moving, but some that offer an alternative to passenger transport.

According to figures published in the country, the number of electric motorcycles and tricycles assembled and produced in Cuba rose to 23,361 between 2020 and 2022. Electromobility, besides being environmentally friendly, is much cheaper than the traditional one. Hence, it is considered an unstoppable industry and an alternative with recognized acceptance.
