Educational centers of Las Tunas and other eastern provinces benefit from Ludema Furniture productions.

Three months ago, the Muebles Ludema basic business unit (Ludema Furniture), in Las Tunas, began manufacturing furniture for the Ministry of Education (MINED) in the province and others in the eastern region, such as Granma and Holguín.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- The creation of four types of boards of different sizes for study, dining rooms, and office areas is among the entity's priorities, besides maintaining active work to support the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP) and Tourism.

Ludema continues with the production of cribs for the Maternal and Child Care Program (PAMI), for the eight municipalities of the province, a collaboration that will have greater dimensions in the coming months with the furnishing of Health centers in the communities.

Alexander Rodríguez, head of Engineering and Development, told the Cuban News Agency that they are currently working on the manufacture of furniture for hotels 23 and K -with about 600 rooms-, Metrópolis and H2; also, the fabrication of closet doors for the Corona Hotel has begun. All these facilities are in Havana.

Belonging to the Cuban Furniture Industry -DUJO-, the factory in Las Tunas has achieved efficiency in economic indices to date, with more than 84 million pesos generated by the various commercial activities, of an estimated plan of 77 million for the first five months of 2024.

Muebles Ludema works on perfecting the quality of its creations with products established in the national market, such as chairs for different spaces and circumstances, which deserved the Grand Prize at the ANIR Soluciones Cuba 2024 Expo, for its social impact.
