The first national secretary of the Young Communist League (UJC, in Spanish), Diosvany Acosta Abrahante, visits places north and center of the province of Las Tunas.
Las Tunas, Cuba.- The leader meets with representatives of the new generations of the territory to learn about concrete experiences in core issues such as food production, the sugar harvest, and the contribution of youth in the pitched battle to stop the rise of positive cases of this third outbreak of COVID-19.
As part of the journey, he participated in the flag to the platoon-school of the Orlando Pantoja Polytechnic Agricultural Institute (IPA), in the municipality of Jesús Menéndez, in the early hours of the morning. Then, in Puerto Padre, he exchanged with health workers and presented the Jóvenes por la Vida (Youth for Life) Distinction to a group of boys and girls who have been at the forefront in multiple tasks.
Acosta Abrahante continued his tour of sites in the provincial capital during the afternoon, to continue knowing, first hand, the tenacity of the new generations and exchange about experiences and challenges.
