Acinox furnaces continue to melt 33 years after the founding of the steel mill

The Acinox Las Tunas Stainless-Steel Company recently celebrated the 33rd anniversary of its first casting, committed to continue contributing to the country's economic and social development, being an industry with a will of steel.

Las Tunas, Cuba. The recognition of all its workers, especially the 85 who were part of that historic moment in 1992 and have kept working uninterruptedly in the steel factory, marked the entity's celebration.

With clear actions and projections in science and innovation, a broad environmental commitment, and a desire to contribute to the country's strategic objectives, Acinox Las Tunas is consolidated as one of the flagship companies of the Tunas economy.

Among its objectives is to strengthen the link with the University of Las Tunas and other higher education centers, contributing to the studies of metallurgical sciences, in addition to vocational orientation and training from the first years of General Education.

Its production of medicinal oxygen, as a contribution to such a sensitive sector as Health and better economic management, stands out as an expression of the search for alternatives to exploit the maximum of its industrial potentialities.
