The Territorial Division of Copextel Las Tunas is a consolidated industry as an integral solutions provider, offering varied engineering services in correspondence with the country's demand.
Las Tunas, Cuba.- Juan Carlos Pérez Parra, general manager of the provincial branch, explained to the press its mission to satisfy the customer's needs for products, services, and integral solutions in telecommunications, electronics, and energy with state-of-the-art technology.
The biggest challenge that the Copextel Las Tunas team members are taking on today is to support the change in the country's energy matrix.
In addition, they are looking for ways to insert themselves into the use of renewable energy sources and contribute to the national electro-energy system.
"Last year, we started to install a photovoltaic system on the roof of our subsidiary; these panels were installed in January, and in February we started to produce energy. We spent two months fine-tuning and commissioning; today, we are self-sufficient in electricity."
Like other organizations that sell products to the population, Copextel has made inroads into electronic payments, Pérez Parra explained. "We implemented these payments before the arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic and they have helped us; in addition, the population has purchased electrical appliances, batteries, and lighting systems."
The corporation's team of engineers is striving for more and better services to increase the quality of its services and, in this way, improve its economic results.
