The peace talks on Ukraine between Russian and US officials scheduled for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, could take place on February 18th, Kommersant reported.

Moscow. According to the note published on Monday, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov is expected to head the Russian delegation, while Secretary of State Marco Rubio will attend the US side.

It was also known that Rubio may be accompanied by US National Security Advisor Mike Waltz and the US President’s Special Envoy for the Middle East, Steve Witkoff.

Previously, it was reported that a US delegation headed by the president’s special envoy would travel to Saudi Arabia to discuss progress in resolving the Ukrainian conflict.
